Yes, I think you are up to something here. Maybe make a short video to show how the chip works. The displayed amount is the key feature imo.
for poker you would just need colored coins
if you buy a lot of them you can load them
with how many sats you like
if you print a value on the coin
its a little limited just from the optics
but yes you could walk away with just the coins
and withdraw later...
I thought the display was active and shows to amount of sats on it. By bad.

Haven’t tried it but heard a lot about it in podcasts when it came out and saw a video. Seems to work fine
