Damn good point… i didn’t even think to tell new users like hey you are connecting your IP to non business entity random anonymous people …. That’s a super important protection piece that needs to be shouted from the rooftop. But isn't a VPN basically a tunnel to another public IP address? Eventually somebody still has our IP no matter what basically it just depends on who you want to have it... At least that's how it seems to me. I'm no expert so just giving my impression of the situation as I understand it
