Yea, what will it take to prevent that? Or is it even preventable? Perhaps will end up a dual system until ppl realize the full impact of centralized manipulation, and choose to opt out, as they are slowly doing with fiat/bitcoin

i think the only chance to prevent this is to go down the pow route
no one planned for email to become centralized, but its what will inevitably happen if there are no alternatives to spam prevention other than coordination
