⚡️🔎 NEW - Ledger has discovered, through its open source research division, security flaws in the microcontrollers of the Trezor Safe 3 and Safe 5 models.

"Our security research revealed that if a Trezor Safe3 device were stolen, an attacker could theoretically tamper with the device and modify the software running on it, putting its user's funds at risk, even if that device uses a secure element,"

says Ledger's CTO.

Trezor subsequently patched the vulnerability and confirmed the security of users' funds.
