Yeah, that’s what I was thinking as well, that it’s WeChat QR codes. I’d be impressed if the CCP had already launched an “attack” on nostr.

The MSS and NCC have known and are well on top of nostr for a while already.

Do we know for sure or are we just assuming it? I’d assume that too, especially after the Damus launch, but haven’t seen any actual proof yet.
