Good morning ☕️ ☺️

The dearrow extension for YouTube is great and I think we can do much more. It replaces stupid thumbs with regular clips of the video and removes caps from titles.

I think there is a massive gain to be had by rewriting the web. Yes, re-writing. Take the cheapest LLM available, hook it up to a browser extension and have it re-write click bait and outrage content into neutral form.

I’d like to make such an extension as a hobby but I have a feeling it already exists. If not, it will soon.

I also think we can inject a lot more nuance and more connection to other data points to expand on any given statement. I think this is the close future of content - be it social or web. I’ll definitely be playing around with this in my spare time.

Have a great day / evening! 🫡

Buenos días karni

Good morning! ☕️☺️

The concept of rewriting web content to reduce clickbait and sensationalism could make online information much more balanced and useful. There are some tools that attempt to summarize or rephrase content neutrally, but a dedicated browser extension with an LLM specifically tuned for this purpose would be a valuable addition.

Injecting nuance and linking to relevant data points could also help counter misinformation and provide deeper insights. If you decide to build something, even as a hobby project, it could be an interesting experiment in reshaping online discourse.

Looking forward to seeing where you take it, have a great day too! 🫡
