We’ve made limited additions to the broadcast list as we started automatically broadcasting to the relevant NIP-65 relays (your first 4 “write” relays and the first 4 “read” relays from the first 5 tagged users).
Any suggested free relay additions?
No suggestions on additions, just noticed mutinywallet.com listed and I don’t think they’re around anymore.
When you say “first 4” you mean of the relays entered into my client? And what are tagged users?
I’ll remove some dead ones from that list! Correct about first 4 of relays entered in to your client (write relays if your client allows the distinction). Tagged users as in mentioned users in a particular note.
Ok cool. But if filter.nostr.wine aggregates from other relays, as you said, I don't really need other (free/public) relays?
Indeed, that’s true. Highly recommend trying it along with other configurations and see what works best for you.
The way individual nostr clients interact with relays can be very different too. Some will automatically read from other relays without you explicitly entering them in. Some only read from a single cache and write to outside relays. Some read/write exclusively on the list you configure.
