I've actually been thinking to restructure the TXHASH BIP as an upgrade of CTV. I believe CTV is mature enough to start activation signaling tomorrow. And I'm in favor of doing that. I don't want TXHASH work to hold it back. It can perfectly be structured as a CTV upgrade without much technical debt.

On the other hand this is sad because Mercury statechains require APO (or I believe some of the TXHASH flags that emulate APO -- or CSFS or LNHANCE) in order to work and that is one of the things I have most hope for in the current days of Bitcoin. But whatever, I'm happy if we can make any soft-fork if that is going to encourage further ones and CTV should probably be the first since it's so appallingly simple.

Worst idea about soft forks I've heard yet, and that's not a low bar...
