There is another matter that's been bothering me a bit. Nostr does have the potential to have a big effect on data distribution but it can't just be a copy of Twitter or IG or whatever. It has to move beyond that and it has to build a more influential network. I'm not sure that creating a decentralized copy of all the legacy social media platforms is the right way to approach such an issue. Also, they can't remain the most popular clients. We already know that you can build clients that possess a wide array of use cases, and that's good, but they're not being utilized enough in the real world.

I think I get your point. Let me know if I'm off base.
Nostr as we are currently using it, is merely a promotion and marketing approach to a new tool. The clients are using a format and architecture that we are already familiar with.
True value and innovation will be when #nostr is one component of a larger solution that solves many problems.
Satoshi leveraged the work of past cryptographers and the cypherpunks to innovate Bitcoin.
I expect something similar to take place over time with nostr, clients, value transfers, and likely many new, unforseen contributions.
Or maybe I just consume to much Jeff Booth content.
Time will tell.
No, you're on point. 👍
