I own dji osmo action 4, it has good quality videos. It was on sale for cheaper price than gopro's, i recommend watching reviews and comparison unless there is specific reason to stick with gopro brand.
Does it work as a web cam to do live streaming too? I've been getting more into making youtube videos these days.

You tried it in linux? Gopro linux support seems pretty awful.
never used it, maybe google search it
