Tonight I was explaining what rain was to my 2 year old. “Wa-wa, up, sky”

We watched a few rain videos on TV.

Then he wanted to go to the bath tub and he took his first shower instead of a bath. He kept saying “rain.”

After that I showed him what an umbrella is. It was an interesting night.

159 days since rain. Maybe tomorrow?

Growing up in Phoenix this is a great example of how appreciated rain can be when you get very little.

Some people dream of sunny days, we get 300 a year. Rain however… maybe 36.

love that story. my daughter around that age saw a functioning water wheel at this local restaurant we go to. she called it 'rain drop spinning' and we still call the restaurant rain drop spinning to this day.

The world through their lens is the best. Memories remain. 🫂

Hey QW! Sounds like some serious quality time 🧡 So proud!

At some point, my daughter became afraid of the shower. She was almost 3. I had to keep the shower like a sprinkler, water going to the ceiling, with me singing the "Rain, Rain Go Away" song, to fix the issue. We're blessed, QW!

Yeah, let’s see if that shower keeps its relevance. I pumped it up pretty hard last night. 🤣

The same here in northern Patagonia.

We had a huge storm last night. Once a year maybe.

It hardly rains.

And when it's about to rain, farmers launch some bombs to disperse the clouds or howerver works.

So it's dry very dry
