Yeah that pop up feels unnecessary.

i’d personally switch it, hold for preview, tap for full view nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s

You can disable #damus profile preview in settings -> appearance -> disable profile action sheets

ooh, that’s cool 💜

thoughts on Damus having an FAQ section in the future?

💯

Actually that card makes sense for zapping as the info under the setting states. I guess it’s a way around Apple not allowing zapping buttons.

You are 💯 right.

The card is friction induced by tim apple’s note zap ban.

Card is a profile zap.

We can do. The harsh reality is that most will neither go to settings, nor read a FAQ. Getting design right is the most important.

hmm, good point

maybe some interconnectivity between a step-by-step guide and the FAQ?

and maybe a “Did you know?” tip of the day, especially pointed for newcomers

Happy to collaborate 💜

Are you offering to do the tips of the day or week nostr:npub1t3ggcd843pnwcu6p4tcsesd02t5jx2aelpvusypu5hk0925nhauqjjl5g4 ? Would gladly promote that. We had it on our list of

To dos just haven’t gotten to it 💜😍🤣

I’d be happy to contribute

I personally think it should be a client-side pinned post (rather tiny, with a light bulb icon, and an “x” to it’s right, to close it out + display whenever your client is booting up + option of having it display as a daily/weekly pop-up notification

Nice. So many hidden settings and yes control is good. A normal user rarely goes there to explore. It’s better than Facebook or twitter forcing settings down your throat.

Appreciate the feedback, keep it coming.

It’s definitely not unnecessary. Loading profiles is a very data intensive operation at the moment. Once it’s not then it may be unnecessary. Also most people don’t have note zaps unlocked, so it provides a quick way to one tap profile zap.

I actually prefer it, most of the time I just want to quickly follow or zap someone without loading their profile notes.

Now it makes sense.
