For those who missed it. The City of Santa Monica actually lit up the Ferris wheel on their world famous pier, one of the most popular tourist attractions in California, with the #bitcoin logo earlier this year.

They’ve been trying to promote the city as a trendy forward-thinking tech hub in recent years. Not sure who exactly was responsible for the bitcoin Ferris wheel, but it was rad to see!
