Aren't you taxed for ever, anywhere in the galaxy, when you are/had been an US citizen?
Yeah, unless you renounce, and then you have to pay something like 30% exit tax.

Ahhh... There is an exit "possible". But it only makes sense when you are poor.
Here in Canada, I believe that an exit tax has already been applied to those who renounce Canadian citizenship.
Having to pay to leave a country is so fucking dumb.
