After being a Christian I read Buddhism and practiced Metta (loving kindness). I realized I was doing the exact same thing in my head.

Sometimes when people pray they’re doing what some Buddhists are doing.

The funny thing is - it works. But not for the reasons people think it works.

I'm glad you found something that works for you. I wish you well and the best. Maybe one day you come back to Christianity, maybe not. Either way I want you to be blessed, and appreciate you taking the time for the well wishes.

Thanks for the recommendation. I probably won't add it to the list of books I'm working on but may, you never know. I'm very happy where I am spiritually and have been very blessed in my life and more so since returning to Christianity.

I'm happy that you are happy where you are as well. I'm not going to try and impose my belief system on you.
