What an elitist take.

First of all, I’m talking about Bitcoin, not crypto.

And second of all, refugees from everywhere around the world have used Bitcoin to escape their countries. Just because you think it’s “laughable” and have never heard about it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

As for El Salvador…have you been there? I was there twice. Last time I went I only spent Bitcoin for an entire week. Yes, not everyone in the country is using it yet but adoption takes time. Still, Bitcoin is legal tender in the country.

You should consider keeping your opinions to yourself when you don’t have the full facts, let alone the experience as evidence to prove your erroneous point.
