I need to be better at monitoring my own websites. Apparently i've had a broken iframe for my nextcloud embed that allowed people to book a consultation chat.

And of course the command that fixed it last time seems not to be working.

Hard to get clients when they cant fucking contact you. 😅

Iframe forms? Can you use the API instead maybe? More secure too.

Mabey. Im looking at ways around it. I could go back to ye ol contact form. But I like the automation flow of the app.

Appointment got booked > I get a ping, confirm and its added to my calender > private chat room was made then email with password to room is emailed to client.

Yeah I'm not familiar with the app, hence the hesitancy to say for sure. But problem with iframe is 1. Depends on the form hosts reliability 2. From personal experience, browsers are getting very finicky with iframe forms, and so maybe the form is not displaying for certain people (browser/os/device issues). If say you are using something like wordpress, I'd personally search the plugin store for a nextcloud plugin and keep it up to date, if it exists for your platform. Good luck 🤞

Yeah this site is not useing a CMS so I cant go the plugin route. Nextcloud has some security built in where you can allow certin domains to use the embed. So far it seems to be an issue with an update that happened recently. My domain is still whitelisted in the conf file but the iframe is getting an error saying that the server hosting nextcloud won't allow the connection.

Meh. Gonna poke it after a bike ride. Need a break from my screen anyways.

DM the output of your browser console if you like. I'm pretty sure I can tell you the issue there. If there's no CMS in the way it should be fairly straightforward to fix 🤙

Oh yeah duh. The browser console. Thanks.

If im lost Ill DM for sure. Gonna get this ride in before sunset though.
