I'll see a benefit when solar panels become cheap like $5 cheap.
Prices have dropped a lot, but $5 would be a game-changer. The cool thing is, even now, the long-term savings can make up for the initial cost, especially for things like off-grid setups.
Yeah it's the inital cost that's the hard part. I wish someone made a solar powered self generating electric machine. Isn't it possible to make a generator with a solar panel that has a light that can reflect on to the solar panel? I guess the next question is what kinda light & how strong the wattage has to be.
