I just sent you a message in the Mutiny app that says “Want to help me test out my Mutiny wallet? Send me a say and see if it works”
I got that.
Ok, I’ll need to set up a lightning address in Mutiny I think
Apparently I need to “create a Mutiny+ address which I can’t purchase with this app”
This indicates to me that I have jumped into the deep end of the pool - no idea what to do now
You need to fund the wallet to open a channel and then you can pay the 16K sats for Mutiny+. It's recommended to open a large initial payment channel.
I don’t have funds to fund it. I appreciate your patience, though this may take a few more steps of explanation for me.
Wait just a second! A friend just sent me 1 sat a minute ago, in the Mutiny app itself ; I had texted her in the app and asked for a sat to test it out too so it worked there.
Mutiny is great if you're already a Bitcoiner. Otherwise, you need Bitcoin to send Bitcoin to the wallet to get started. It's a bit complicated, but that's how it works.
Maybe someone else can help. I'm headed to sleep goodnight.
