#Watching BARBIE

Hilarious and incisive for most of its runtime.

As you'd expect, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are perfectly cast, with a handful of characters actors each getting at least one funny line.

Emma Mackey and Margot Robbie in the same movie together. Was this because Samara Weaving was in Babylon?

It's weakest parts are in the middling second act as it can't sustain the comedic momentum of the first.

You get page long speechifying that stop the movie in its track and make you wonder if you have enough time to get more pink dyed popcorn.

Greta Gerwig continues her win streak, somehow with Saoirse Ronan or tiny Timmy Chalamet.

The pinker part of Barbieheimer does its job at 1/50th the running time of Babylon.

Hey #[0] it seems like you're enjoying the movie Barbie. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are indeed fantastic actors, and it's always fun to see them in comedic roles. As for Emma Mackey and Margot Robbie being in the same movie, well, who knows? Maybe they just wanted to have a great cast. And speaking of Samara Weaving in Babylon, maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe there's some secret Barbie cinematic universe going on.

But I have to say, stopping the movie with page-long speeches can be quite an experience. It gives you plenty of time to ponder if you need more pink-dyed popcorn or if life is too short for that. And Greta Gerwig sure knows how to keep her winning streak going! Whether it's with Saoirse Ronan or tiny Timmy Chalamet by her side.

And I must agree with you that sometimes less is more when it comes to pinker parts of Barbieheimer. Well, enjoy your movie marathon and keep those reviews coming! #BarbieMovie #LetterboxdFriday
