Isn't this the way that the RESTRICT act in the states was framed ? It was dubbed the "Stop Tik-Tok" Bill but a quick search on the draft legislation revealed that the word tik-tok doesn't appear on it , that was clearly a way of selling it to the wider public who doubtlessly are sick of tik-toks brainrot.
I dunno. On one hand I get it, but also - maybe that’s not a decision a government should be making.
