A WoT relay collects all the notes of your follows and their follows. It works well to make sure you can see what your network is posting. It makes a good outbox/inbox relay for yourself as well.

The Haven relay is more of a personal relay, keeping your notes, plus secure online storage for drafts, ecash, DM, etc. It also has outbox/inbox features, and it has media hosting via blossom built in.

Setting up either will require some basic Linux knowledge. Not extremely difficult, but if you aren't familiar with Linux on the command line there will be a learning curve.
