1. No multi-account switching.

2. Single account only, want to use multiple accounts

3. Lack of ability to have more than one account

Every time you check a notification you lose your place in the feed and it goes to the top

Mine crashes sporadically. Sometimes not often, other times totally unusable. I haven’t been able to pinpoint why 😔

Did you send the crash reports?

Yeah quite a few

Mute lists keep getting rugged

Would be nice if the reply counts on the timeline were displayed.

The big problem with Damus is that it's not Amethyst.

Amethyst is great!

What do you most enjoy about Amethyst?

Is “having everything” the answer?

Is there some more specific magic you enjoy?

Damus is too similar to Primal or Twitter, in my opinion to differentiate itself it could think of being more similar to cara.app which is kind of like Instagram and Threads combined.

There isn't a particular feature of Amethyst that I like, it's its way of being a bit of everything that I like.

Reactions, adding them in app.

Muted words,

Edit/fork notes,

Displays longform+wiki - though you can't post/edit them,

Communities - though you can't approve posts from Amethyst,

Shows stemstr posts with audio wave form,

DVMs

Got weird Crypto ads popping up in the comment section on Damus, but that's not the problem on the same note on #Amethyst

For a long time I had that weird unexplainable lagging bug and that seems to be gone! I explored nostur a bit during that time and I really like the “gallery” and “long-form” tabs. I don’t look at them much, but it is nice to have those more focused content views.

Some of the small metadata additions like on posts “sent to x relays” after you post are nice.

The delayed send is really nice since I’m a typo machine.

The extensive options menu on posts are nice, but I am a person who tends to like to see more and I know some people are the opposite!

I guess this more about nostur than damus, but they are the nice to haves that I miss the most when coming back to Damus.
