I believe what you call a ‘mechanism,’ I call ‘belief’. We all have beliefs, some of them seem to benefit us more than others. The value I find in Nostr is sharing beliefs and being benefited by the sharing of others.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was Gossip. That is why it is so important to share. It creates a community of understanding that helps us sucessfully act in the world.
