I used to love being able to head to town, meet old friends at a bar for a drink, then head to another an repeat.
Pre-paid ticket entry Millennium celebrations were the end of those times. Private NYE parties became the norm.
Those pre cell phones era were good times always happy to see friends and family to catch up

Nokia finally made the 8210 that would discreetly fit in a pocket, so you didn't have to look ridiculous with a 3210 in a leather case strapped to your belt.
🤣 I used to make fun of those people than again I had a large corded car phone back in 2000 🤦♂️
