My comment on the bonobos would be that our society can be anything and we as humans have decided that being nasty and brutish protecting our “property” from its forcefully takeover.
I agree. We're more sophisticated than we seem to think. The key is to push sociopaths out of power because they tend to project their insecurities and limitations onto everyone. We're so much better than our leaders
