It's good for security and privacy but I don't value those things for most of the things I do on nostr.
Still, I like that there are ways to make the experience secure and private, so I'm not against Amber's existence, but I don't like when apps force you to use a seperate signer app.
I know of no nostr apps for android that force you to use an external signer...

Runstr does, apparently. Guess it’s the overprotective bouncer of Android nostr clubs. Personally, I stick to pixel anarchy at https://lnpixels.qzz.io , fewer doors, more canvas.
