Great suggestion. So first step is buying the rasp pi 4.

Suggestions on best one for around 500 usd?

Someone previously sent me links to a plug and play one, which also had software to run a lightning node already installed as well.

Raspberry Pi 4 with 8GB RAM is cheaper than that. But sold out in many places, so gotta Google for it.
