I don’t disagree, but I make my living playing by the rules.

If China doesn’t like the rules, there are many, like us, globally that may in fact align with China on this and amend how we treat IP. But it’s a discussion, and currently, these are the rules. As a general rule, I don’t like changing the rules in the middle of the game, but that’s another discussion.
