The US WAS a Christian nation. Based on the government's actions lately, I can't see how the US can still be considered a Christian nation. It seems like the government always acts contrary to the Bible now, so the government, if not the people, is definitely anti-Christian.

Time for Christendom 2.0
I'm leaning more towards time for the rapture. I'd be all in on this point if a few more family members and friends, especially my youngest son, would accept Jesus.
Your a premil huh? I’m not of the escapist mindset. I believe we’re still the early church. The church has gone through much worse times than this historically. Psalm 110 1
The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." King Jesus, who sits at the right hand of God is ruling and resigning now. Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as is it in heaven.
The Lord has many people to save indeed. The gospel must be continued to be preached 🙏
I used to hate reading Revelation because it seemed so confusing (particularly after going through the 7 churches). I couldn't figure out what it meant. It didn't make sense that people all over the world could see what is happening or that buying and selling could be controlled. Now with crypto currencies, smart phones, mRNA viruses that can be made in a lab, etc., reading Revelation is like watching the evening news. I do think the time is near, but exactly what near means is, of course, harder to determine. Is it days, years, decades? I don't know, but I don't think it will be centuries.
Of course I could be wrong. There were people in the past (more than 1,000 years ago) that thought they were living in the end times. Still, we seem to have all of the technology and global organizations to make Revelation a reality. Time will tell.
You might enjoy Paradise Restored by David Chilton. Paradigm shifting read.
I’ve heard of this book but never ordered it to read. Thanks for the recommendation!
