I have two nas connected to the home network, one is always on and the second is turned on only when I need it for photo backup.
Is it possible that I can't use the Wake on Lan function in either of them?
I am quite angry.
The one that is always on is a low-end synology, while the other is a qnap-473

You should be able to, it might just need configuration, some WoL need to be configured at the BIOS level to work, not familiar with those NAS models, but it should be specified in the user manuals?
Read all manuals, look on qnap and synology website, YouTube tutorial etc etc, but nothing.
Can’t really understand where is the problem 😫
