I feel like crypto, twitter, base; its all just simulated matrixes of real freedom tech such as bitcoin, nostr, lightning. And the masses have no idea that they're sold something that is inherently centralised and thus, offer no real added value at all, but more sinister, will keep them locked within the control grid.

On the one hand I agree and feel like CBDC’s will run on Ethereum, but then I logically think if I was the government, why wouldn’t I do it myself? it’s so easy to spin up a coin and a blockchain.

Theyre not technically competent. They rather choose one of the established shitcoins with network effects and co-opt it.
