I couldn't agree more. Spain, and indeed all of Europe, are very statist and even applaud the existence of supranational organizations that increase the size of the state to stratospheric proportions.

That culture is so statist that the mere mention of doing something without the authorization of some bureaucrat sounds “extreme.”

And in Spain, the “far right” doesn't want less state, hopefully it wants the same statism but “administered by our own people.” Which, at the end of the day, is the same shit with different flies.
