Has anyone tried setting up a Banking business? If so how difficult was it to get approved by Financial Regulators?

Ask Simon Dixon, he tried this and it was very difficult, almost impossible, but it has gotten a bit better since he tried in the UK in the 2010s.
Among the requirements were that you had to have a CEO that had been a CEO at another bank.
Yeh I guess they don’t want ordinary people to just print money and give out loans to people. Only the banksters are allowed to do that.
