Someday you may learn that man is only an ego. Both are mortal.
We are more than the human vessel within us all.
That sounds like gnosticism. Man is both soul and flesh. It's an error to down play the importance of the body.

The body, mind, and ego is within us all. Even Jesus recognized we are misrebrhan human. We are consciousness and awareness which has no form, plugged into a character. Awareness cannot do anything and you cannot do anything to awareness.
