Are you planning to fund it? My need is CDN and delivery of 20-50TB of data every month globally and fast. Sure there are alternatives, if you plan to pay for it a pretty penny. 🐶🐾🫡
Please don’t assume that we are all stupid and not aware of other places. It’s all about cost and availability.
No one is assuming anyone is stupid. It is your service and your choice where to host it. I already spend a pretty penny on Relayable. Does not mean I am putting it on Cloudflare since they offer predatory pricing.
And I’ve donated to you too, so good on you. But, as I already said, it’s impossible for my case to be anywhere but CF now. Why? Unfunded! Sure if we had a lot of paying customers and reoccurring revenue, it would be easy enough and more sustainable to build our own CDN, but at this point nobody has 100-300 bucks a month (cheapest alternative) to spend just on CDN and delivery of assets. 🐶🐾🫡

Like I said, is your call where and why to host. I think it all needs more discussion and attention including the lack of funding/grants for services and relays.
