Got some more digging and strategic hesitation planned first, but I'm leaning heavily towards getting a blue alpine medium.

Interesting. I've never seen the Blue Apline before. I like it. Looks pretty good though. If you get one I am certainly interested to hear about it.

They are the only ones marketing off the shelf parts and consumer repairability, like using standard 9x13 pans you can buy anywhere. That is the big draw for that model to me.

Sounds a bit open sourced. I certainly like that.
