Seems more like the question is what experience do you prefer, one that’s sleek and polished but lacking in substance, or one that’s raw but down-to-earth?

It’s no one’s job here to sell you on dive bar culture if that’s not your thing. It’s not for everyone, and that’s completely fine. But your comment assumes that the place must be a total dump, which is strange considering you haven’t been there before.

Like if I'm spending $200 for example, I want what I consider to be worth that value.

Nobody is ignoring your questions, you’re getting a more than adequate response. If you don’t like something, it’s okay to move along. You probably aren’t the audience.
