Thinking about getting a practice car (rear wheel drive) under $10k to prepare me for the Supra Cycle. I wouldn't want to drive the Supra into a tree, that scares girlfriends.
Toyota MR2 and Mazda RX-8 are very good options within the price range.
Any other recommendations?
Mazda RX-8 will be pain in the ass in maintenance due to Vankel rotary engine. Maybe just buy some Lexus.

Within my budget? Super unlikely.
I mean not the new one, but some used second generation IS (XE20), for example, should be below 10K €.
