A lot of them, not all of them, but a lot of them are just Sheep, they're blinded sheep, and they're dumb.
Boomer couple I’m building a deck for are hardcore save the animals vegans and extreme liberals who go protest with signs like “public land is our land!” And “All labor has dignity”.
Both are late 60 and look in their late 70’s, both have serious health problems, are poor and stuck on social security and in general some of the most propagandized and delusional people I’ve ever met. Any expenses outside normal life are HELOC’d.
Interfacing with them has me shook that there are people out there like them. It is sad and jarring.
Out of curiosity, do you know if they have children?
I don’t know but have been wondering that. Haven’t seen any pictures of kids or heard any mention of it.
They’ve both brought up climate change and the trump administration multiple times. They’ve both complained of their failing health. They are frustrated and angry and confused.
I wanted to have sincere discussions with them when they bring this stuff up but as you said perfectly, they are way too wrong and retarded. Just doing the work they want and getting paid.
People who watch nothing but mainstream media (boomers) are literally detached from reality.
