If this is about annoying people, we should be able to implement a "stop following this thread" that just hides all notifications about it. You can still see it if you go to the thread, but you will have piece of mind.
It's about managing comments and leading comments to a specific note.
So I qoute a note, but I need peoples attention to be led to the original note not the quote.
