It's because they know they haven't done enough.
Yeah, sure, we all wish we had more, understood it earlier, ect.
But at the end of the day, what matters is that once you got it, you didn't drag your feet on it. If you gave it all, then there's no regret and no sadness, only joy in seeing the price go up.
