Its not mining the jpeg thats the problem here.
They were paid OTC or mined the 4mb TX for free.
They stole hash from people to do this.

i think paying a miner outside of the blockchain is difficult and can´t be replicated a lot , the guy who broke lightning had to pay like 400 dollars for one transaction, people are overreacting . it alsos make people see the miner in a worst manner, making they lose clients and revenue.
