Many criticize nostr:npub18m4nmc2wchzgcmzvnluqjzxyrpshp64mwje2vuz60kulny3v6c0qtgcl2x' decision to promote UMA instead of "an off-the-shelf

LNURL implementation with an LUD-18-based compliance and LUD-21".

I think it’s perfectly logical.

Lightspark is targeting VASPs that want to provide a cheap, compliant and instant FX solution to their users.

Those institutions don't care if what's under the hood is LNURL or something else.

If they cared, they'd have implemented LNURL already — the building blocks have been around for years.
