The Russian and Canadian farming thing is kinda ridiculous. Seems to be like you're saying "fuck the impact to farmers in established farming areas" by saying this coupled with your point about negatives to local conditions.
Your first point is a red herring, no one thinks climate is static.
Your second point about humans adapting is disingenuous because it ignores the fact that our environmental adaptations have always been gradual. Otherwise I can say the opposite point that the Italians at Mt Vesuvious simply didn't adapt to their climate fast enough disproving your point. Yes, humans adapt, but over generations, not decades. You can see this in agricultural trends being volatile in the past 100 years bc of modern over simplification of complex systems, but if you look at it at the correct time scale, it takes generations to adapt to climate impacts like desertification.
