I found this persuasive:
The footage of thousands of emaciated Jews being liberated from Buchenwald suggests standard socialist work-camps & supply chain breakdown. If the point of the camp was only to kill them, why did they stick around long enough to get emaciated? Why was there housing built for many thousands of prisoners? The strongest evidence of the Holocaust thus casts doubt on the purely genocidal aim of the Nazis.
The Warsaw uprising suggests that some, possibly many or all of the mass graves found in the East were the result of decimation rather than genocide. Decimation is a practice dating back to Ancient Rome in which 10% of a rebellious population is killed - hence the prefix deci, as in ten. 70,000 Jews were rounded up after the Warsaw uprising, and 7,000 killed. This is still murderous and (in my view) criminal, but historically common.
I think it's also possible that a program of deliberate genocidal euthanasia killed some proportion of Jews and others, and that the number so murdered has been inflated by disease, exhaustion, and starvation following supply-chain breakdown, as well as simple lies. The absurd "evidence" of Treblinka should encourage us to be skeptical about Majdanek & Auschwitz, but of course by itself proves nothing of these other camps.
