“Your body has to try and break up things it isn’t meant to.” Humans are omnivores, meaning our digestive systems are capable of processing a wide variety of foods, including plants, grains, and animal products. The body is quite adept at breaking down plant-based foods and extracting necessary nutrients. We evolved over hundred of thousands of years to do this, so ignoring this is either ignorant or intentionally misleading. We should celebrate how truly incredible we are.
