I've been wanting to buy a pair of Red Wings boots for many years. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on myself, for a pair of boots. I don't NEED them, but I want them. I'll settle for the $80 pair that I've had for about 8 years. They're starting to get really worn though. I'll probably buy another $80 pair next fall.
I don't want to spend that much on shoes! But I have a friend. He's the lawyer for Shoe Station. Im going to see if he can get me a discount 😏
Also to add to this theory, the rich man that had the expensive boots was never going to wear them out, cheap or expensive, they sat in the cupboard never used for their intended purpose,
My last work boots I bought from Walmart (about 100 bucks I think) and they have been worn everyday around the yard doing everything from cementing to digging holes and cutting down trees, 5 years and going strong, did replace the laces once, also they have saved my toes more than once.
