Mirror spirits (Spiegel Geist) are a very old ritual I know from my childhood, used to summon imaginary friends such as the Scarlet Lady of the Mirrors, inspired whether in the form of folkloric dares like "Bloody Mary" among children and teenagers or through films like Labyrinth with David Bowie.
