I love giving Nostr to people because I get to see who they actually are. Are they cool or are they a bully? Are they going to post fun, interesting things or just dick pics? Are they constructive or let's burn this place down kinda people?

Well, people show their true selves when they have their masks on. Or, in this case, when they're anonymous and no one knows who they are.
Another cool thing is its also a mirror to help you sort of "be the change you want to see" in yourself deal. I can see the things that made me too crazy and course correct over time and chill the fuck out, fail, try again...
Would love this place to humble people a bit like bitcoin does.
But we're not there yet.

Great take, Vitor. I love nostr, but you can meet stupidity, rudeness and even terrible things here. They are easy to mute and the community is also taking initiative, but the mass user is not ready for this yet. And at the same time, nostr must be such thing by design, because this is how freedom works.
I feel this comment so deeply.. kinda like give away a ton of money and see what someone does with it, voting w your dollars /
